Marc Emery on the front page of the prestigious Wall Street Journal newspaper

Marc Emery on the front page of the prestigious Wall Street Journal newspaper

The weed's enemies should worry. This year, Mr. Emery's company, Hemp BC, will sell 130,000 seeds, with brand names like Mighty Mite, Northern Lights and Time Warp. That's enough to produce about 30,000 pounds of potent marijuana.
"Next year," says the 37-year-old libertarian, "we'll sell 500,000 seeds."

Mr. Emery's enterprise is illegal. But, for 19 months, the Vancouver police have done little more than sneer. "He's blatant ... but he's not a priority," says police spokes-woman Constable Anne Drennan, who adds: "We don't want to send out the message that it's OK." But Vancouver has more serious crimes to worry about.

Mr. Emery thinks his upfront, business-like style keeps him free: "If it is handled respectfully, the authorities will accept it."

Besides, because he paid 350,000 Canadian dollars in taxes and customs duties (about $250,000 in U.S. currency) last year, the former bookseller says, straightening his hemp-fiber trousers, the tax collectors "have a stake in our success. The government is serious about money, not about marijuana prohibition." He says he identifies himself on his tax returns as a "seller of marijuana-related items."

Marijuana Bubbler System!

What About Marijuana Bubler System?

Hello!

I have been reading these boards for a couple of months now and am six weeks into my grow, been flowering for 1 week. Ive been using an ebbandflow but after reading every single post in this aeroponics forum I had to slap myself silly for not getting to this forum before. Why isnt aeroponics more popular? This kind of growing seems (to me) without a doubt the best way to grow!

When i started getting interested in this everything weighed in its favor. With ebbandflow im using 60 gallons of water (25 in veg, 35 in flowering) when I change to aeroponics ill be using approx 20-25 gallons and cut my nute expenses in half. So itll take a little more $ to keep the pumps running but whats an extra $2 a month for pumps? Nothing! Ill save way more than that in nutes and water.

Ill expect a bigger, healthier yield due to better nutes distribution and greater oxygen to the roots. Not to mention the ease of changing nutrients and water.

Also I should be able to get rid of those big bulky pots that are holding 2 gallons of heavy clay rock. Ill switch to rockwool or even keep the clay but ill use less because the roots wont need it. Thereby getting rid of 100lbs of rock and water. It just seems to me that everything falls in favor of aeroponics. Ill be saving quite a bit of money on nutes which for high quality can be pretty expensive.

Ive just begun setting up an aeroponic/spray system and the only problem ive run into so far is keeping my container leak free. Water seems to find its way out every now and then. So here are my questions now that ive gotten stoned after typing that, i did have a question right? What are the major problems you've run into using a aeroponic/spray system and how did you correct them? What part of of your system has given you the most problems? Anyone out there as excited about aeroponics as i am?

Keep it real. Peace.
