Well if you are going to leave them in the dark, make sure you don't leave them to long. As soon as she's breaks the surface, she will stretch until she gets light. I left mine under the lights as soon as I planted them.

well, here's my 2 cents, as long as that plant is in the soil, there is a chance its going to come up with you unaware, now i would just leave the light on, sinces its fluoro lighting, it doesnt take nothin for electricity, personally i wouldnt chance it, plus you gotta maintain temps.

The more light the happier the plant will be the plant could take 10,000 lumens as long as it weren't getting overwhelmed by heat. See what I'm saying? Lumens won't burn a plant, heat will.

:48: :stoned: my HPS puts out 50,000 lumens (400w), i saw a grow vid that started out with the same set-up as me.
i do have flouros though, should i begin with them first, till they`re "established seedlings?"

Hey Shruggy...well, I started mine with the 400 HPS. What happened was I had close nodes and alot of lower foliage with little height. This could be due to the strain, but I was very happy with starting them off directly with the 400.

Agree. I just threw 12 seeds under my 400w and they seem to love it. I keep a good distance between the light and plants of course.

you know i never actually tried it, i always just looked at it as unorthadox tech, i'll give it a try as iam open to anything, infact i think iam gonna try it with 2 lowryder 2.1, i've always had such success with T4 and tube type fluoro's that i never took to the time to think of both sides. call me dense, but i always went with the tried and true path lol :D iam still constantly learning. everything i talk about is refering to my personal experiances. always open to advice or even new tips. i love the LST^ done with that plant. have you tried to bonsai a plant yet? if not i'll see about writing a guide or something.
