This to me is a foolproof way to clone and veg (seems that way anyhow, at first glance).

My question is, could I transfer a cloned/vegged plant from this set up to a soil setup? Would the roots take? Would it survive? Would it produce?

no, after one has vegged in this and you tried to transplant to soil, you would severely stunt the plants growth. most likely kill the plant. i tried one from dwc to soil last year and it never made it.

the best way to go from soil to hydro is to clone.
