I am growin bb and hawiian skunk. They are 9 weeks, 5 into 12-12, the hawiian plant grew 5 inches in the last 4 days. It is now 6'2" I am running out of room. Is it ok for them to get so tall.. they are super healthy. They said this Hawiian plant would be medium hieght. They are under the new SOLARMAX1 bulb.. $200.00. I have them surrouding the light as they won't fit under it. Any suggestions??

The only thing i can think of off hand is to bend them over if ya have the room. Be very careful when ya do it as you don't wanna snap the stem. ;)

You certainly dont want to let 'em grow into the light...could start a fire.

I have a skunk queen that looks like she wants to grow bigger than I anticipated. Which sucks because she has to share the room with 3 other big plants and about 12 babies. All lowryders for the most part.

I just plan to have her under light then have her surround the light if she is too big and add cfl's around her. Should work okay.

usually they double when flowering. certainly ok, just wanna keep them at least a foot and 1/2 away from the bulb. might not see too much new growth~~> 5 inches in 4 days :) not to shabby, maybe cut the light back a little more?

They are 9 weeks, 5 into 12-12,
they "should" stop stretching soon, and start putting on the weight, girth.

It's a good thing to have your plants some what beside the light and not under it. This way the bottom leaves will get more light. I also find side lighting increases bud size dramatically. I find with top lighting I get mostly large pop corn type buds, but with side lighting (around 45% angle) I get long cola's. So it's probably a good thing your plant is so tall. Post a pic if possible, I'd love to see her. Good luck!
