need info on my ballast

hey i just purchased a 250W MH ballast but it doesnt have any instructions on what the hell to do nor does it have a damn socket to install my 250MH bulb?!?! any help?!?!? where do i even mount this damn thing? thanks guys

Sounds like you have a ballast kit.
Just mount it to a plate or whatever.
There should be a diagram on the ballast itself but here is a generic one.

If you can send it back and buy a complete ballast cord and socket set, you'll have a lot less hassles.
