No, it usually doesn't cause problems during veg. They actually like it. I drench mine once a week. Btw, don't foliar feed during flowering.

The only water they get in nature is foliar feeding. Nothing wrong with spraying them with water. Be careful using nutes and foliar spraying.

The only water they get in nature is foliar feeding. ..??..My outdoor plants "never" get foliar feeding or watering,...unless it rains. That rain also goes directly into the ground and waters via roots, just like plants are designed to do.

"IMHO" if you are providing proper nutrients under proper conditions, plants will utilize all they can use, through their root system. The only time "I" feel foliar feeding is necessary, is when there is a defficiency that can't/isn't being corrected in the soil.

Don't foliar feed during flowering...it could lead to mold in the grow room.

Sorry, I thought rain was the same as foliar feeding...you know water dripping on the plant out of the air and falling into the ground. My mistake dude.

I know I'm being a smart *** and remember you are my favorite mod ;) .

you're correct..to a degree, yorker. and in fact, rain water is supposed to be nitrogen rich. I should have clarified, "any hand/supplemented" foliar feeding. I wasn't calling it 'feeding' unless there are nutrient added, to.
BUT..water dripping on the ground and soakin into the root zone..is root feeding. Weather it drips off the foilage or is from an irrigation system, or an old tin bucket..;)

I thought that had been clarified already by the fact that
this thread is in the General INDOOR Growing forum.:D
Way to go Yorker!.ahaha Just messin' with ya mang.

On the subject..I think Hick is right , pure H20 is especially good during veg, but unless the root system is locked up and the plants become defficient
They're is no reason to squirt nutes on the leaves.

Hick, I think your plants are still feeding through their leaves everyday regardless of rain or not. Every morning they will be wet with dew.

..:D..I 'wish' I had dew every morning..it can get ..drier than a popcorn fart in these parts,kitten...:o hee hee
It isn't out of the question for RH to remain in the single digits/low teens for days.

..'kay, yorker....now I'm "old"...very nice way of puttin' it though!..:p ;)
