Friday, time to fill up the jug

I have bad water at home, over 800 ppm, wont even give it to the cat.
so every friday I take a 20 gallon jug to work and fill it with city water.

This is my second hydro grow and I have the 8 unit waterfarm set up with the 15 gal rez.
Well its getting old hauling this jug around and was wondering if there are any other solutions like the RO filters ive seen.
They seem to be different amount of stages and thruput but I dont know what would work without costing a fortune.
If anybody has any suggestions or has used anything like his let me know what you have. Thanks GD.

Ive done some reading on RO filter units.
It was saying that from 1-5 gallons of waste water was needed to generate 1 gallon of RO water.
I am on a well with a pump and that alone would run to death if I need as much water as I do.

But is this how these things work?

Damn Growdude that really bites the big one mang. Have you ever thought about putting some 5 gallon pals outside and collecting rain water for your plants? Might be worth a try. ;)

It could only help. Also could I use dehumidifier water? I have to test its TDS but seems like ya could.
but all this is only help so for now it the big Jug fo GD

Yes, dehumidifier water is distilled. Use it and you will be fine.
