this is unrelated but i dont know how to start athread so im posting it here, im trying to get a head on the weather and starting some seeds inside, anybody know if you need a special light just for the first couple of weeks?

flourescents will "suffice" for a few weeks. "I" suggest keeping them on a schedule of 16/8 or similar, to accustom them to outdoor schedules.

Will seeds from a bag be ok, and would puttig them in a window for the first few weeks be sufficient light?

yeah you could use just bag seed i do and yeah you could put them in the window they would grow fine

I got a couple of questions hopefully you experts can answer, i got some organic potting mix with miracle grow, i also got perlite and peat moss, should i add the moss or perlite? if so right when i plant or after a couple of weeks? any ratio recommnedations? and if i put the germinated seed right outside will it be ok or do i have to keep it inside for 2 weeks?
