high ph

everytime i do a ph test my soil reads at 7.0-7.2. if i add vinegar or lemon to te soil the ph only drops slightly and only 4 the day. the goes back 2 7.0-7.2.i have 2 4ft floros and i,m using a soil called daddy pete's soil (a local organic). but i had the same problem b 4 i transplanted from from miracle gro. why is my ph so high? :confuse:confused: :confused:

Vinegar and lemon juice only change your ph reading for a short time. You might want to visit a spa store or a pet shop where they have fish and get a bottle of ph down. It is not very expensive and it should get you a more permanent change. This stuff tends to be pretty strong, so be careful using it until you get used to how much it changes ph.
