hey guys iam going to be germing my indica seeds in the next week or so iam just wanting to know if when they sprout up is it best for me to start them under a fluro tube an have that really close to them or use my 400w mh but have that 4-5 feet above them an gradually drop that lower each day onto the seedlings

metal halide, but not so far away. 2 feet max as long as heat is not a problem. The seedlings will keep their internodes close if they get plenty of light from the start. I have my 250 watt mh 1 foot away

DEFINATELY MH !!! I just started my first grow under (10) 4 ' - 40 watt florous because thats all my budget would allow.... I finally got a 400w mh and the growth is really explosive ...i can already see faster growth...
