hermie! what now?

well dudes, just a little question as i`m a bit stumped about this.
I have, out of ten seed, 8 females, 1 hermie and 1 male. I gave the male the chop, and i`m about to put the females into flower. but what can i do with this hermie:confused:, leaving it in with the flowering gals is not an option, for the obvious pollination of them.:mad:. But can i even keep it in the same room?? there will be a possibility of me carrying the pollen on clothes or wind etc.
i`m thinking about keeping him/her for seed, but maybe i should just give it the chop, or to a friend, it`s not worth the risk of pollinating all my gals, just for the sake of a few seed-and bud.??
i also don`t want to set up another grow space for that one plant.
any ideas?? is there any way of issolating the pollen on the plant?
could i cover the complete plant, with clear plastic and keep it in the same area as all the others? probably not, i would have to create a micro-enviroment inside the plastic. Humidity, aeration, guess not man.

you could pick off the pollen sacks as they pop up. It will still produce bud. But if you miss even one of those sacks you'll end up with seed. So might not even be worth the risk.

yea id hack it or put it in a compleetly seperate grow space.. i mean keeping it for seed would be cool and all but if that pollen gets on your girls your gonna be really pissed..

Hey hey, don't put it outside so it can pollinate all the little virgins that are growing around the area if there are any lol! make SURE it is in a nice little place far from the rest of your plants and or where others may possibly be and just keep picking the sacks off and grow the bud!

if it were me i would pull off the sacks but check the plant all the time either that or jsut make hash with it or add it to the clippings bag

Hmm, well i don't know for a fact, but if you pull off the balls what will it pollinate with?

to be sure i'd plant them far away from the rest of my plants and let it grow like that while picking off the balls.

It all comes down to a choice of what i just mentioned, using it for hash, or just using it for compost or hell make some cooking oil with it, i dunno lol.

the best advice i kan give you is chop it and make hash..you wont get much but its well worth not pollenating you bueatiful ladies...:smoke1:

yea lol i read somewhere that it takes too much time keep pulling the balls off cause they reappear quickly supposedly , just use another growroom to see what it does if it gets bigger for example then atleast that could improve the hash making amount :)

well it is possible if he wants the extra yield jsut a pain in the *** and yes it can be done for a fact its jsut hard and if they do open up your done even if they were in the same house in dif rooms it would still get pollonated

i know pollen can be carried on clothing, hair, etc, but if i keep "IT" in another room and i`m carefull, will pollination occur?
can pollen travel on the air currents? yes it does outside but,with the air circulation in a modern home, can pollen travel through the complete house?:confused:
the more i talk about it, the more i think i should give it the chop. is it worth the risk, of pollinating All my girls? that would be a disaster.

hey bro i had a hermie and it ended up to be some sweet bud i just kept cuting the spots where the balls were off and the cola end up to be sweet

Its a mistake to keep this plant, Ive done the same, ended up with seeded plants because even though they were in 2 differant rooms the pollen went everywhere.
The balls were imposible to keep up with and eventually poped
The small amount of seedy bud I got was not worth pollenating my good grow twice as I had a bitch of a time cleaning and killing the pollen.
