I have 2 plants in a growbox in my garage that I have been tending to. They have yet to show sex. I just started 12/12 on them and hopefully we will know soon if they are boys or girls...

BUT! I have 3 plants outside for backup, incase my indoor ones turn out to be males. Today I went outside to see if they needed water. And I see that my only skunk plant has grown little round things. :( Son of a gun!!! :mad: I am unable to tell what the other 2 will be.

And just because I am a rookie and I could very well be wrong, here's a pic. I'm right about those round things, aren't I? :confused:

So sorry, Smokinmom, but it happens to the best of us. Don't get too discouraged....about 50% of your plants will turn out to be dudes. :cry: But they are certainly healthy looking plants...you are quite the green thumb.

p.s. I'd appreciate it if you would watch your filthy mouth in the future. I mean really...I know you're disappointed but 'dang it' and 'son of a gun' in one post!! Now go wash your mouth out with soap, young lady! ;)

Is it true that you can increase the likely hood of the plant being female by providing a perfect growing environment? Or is it solely based on the gene of the plant????This theory would mean a seed is "a" sexual and determines sex during germ or veg. REminds me of a crocodile/alligator.

Inquiring minds would like to know if this is rubbish LOL
