Length? Why not growing?

Well I have 2 white rhino seeds I got from a buddy, and I soaked them in water for 24 horus, and when i went to change them to paper towels I noticed it did indeed crack, and the root was barely coming out of the crack (barely)

Ive had the seeds wrapped in paper towels for 2 1/2 days now, and no growth has taken place in the taproot, is something wrong or should I wait it out?

you should of put them straight into the soil after the soak... if it had a tap showing it is ready to go into the soil....put the seeds in the soil.
