How Do You Know...

When the seeds are mature? I haven't a clue as to what to look for. My calyxes are swolen and split and I can see the seed. Should it look dark when it's ripe or do they darken after picked:huh:?!? Any help is greatly appreciated!

At least for me what seemed to happen was the dark seeds were the ones good to go. lighter colored ones arent ready i think.

Yeah, the white ones are immature seeds. The dark ones (a lot of times with white stripes in them) are the good mature seeds.

What i'm asking is this. When the seeds are forming in the calyx on the plant, how do you know they are done?
