Is it normal?

Is it normal for a very healthy plant that is 2 months old and 3ish feet big at 50 days of veggie to grow large emounts just into flower?

What I mean is I had a plant like stated above and I put it into flower and its only day 3 of flower and during its dark hours it has stretched almost 11 inches!

at the beggining of flower they will go through a massive stretch in the first 2 -3 weeks, after that they will place all their energy into bud production:fly:for the rest of the phase.
hope this helps man, BTW you need to add plenty of "P" and minimal "N" and "K". at the end of flower, like 3 weeks before the ladies should be allowed to become nitrogen defficient.

i thought that the ratio for veg is something like"N"-20,"P"-15,"K"-10.
i may be wrong too, it wasn`t untill recently that i found out that for flower phase you have to up the "P", i had always thought it was up the "K". i.e "K"-20, "P"-15 and "N"-10?? i`m confused now.
