Which is better?

Just wondering yeild wise on average would you think 6 plants in 10 inch pots or 4 plants in 5 gal pots vegged for the same amount of time and everything done the exact same to both grows would grow more?

Just wondering because this grow has been kinda hard for me to grow 6 plants. 4 would be more ideal but I don't want to loose yeild. I'm going to renivate my hdtv box since my warranty is up into a flowering box because next grow i'll have a new hps grow light and I won't have a use for my two 4 foot floros in my closet right now so I'm going to use it to take cuttings and find the sex of the plants early.

Hmm. I think we need some more info to give some sound advice. How long were you going to veg for? What are you height limitations? Any training or super cropping methods being used?

no super cropping but I do look in my grow room every day for new growth and if I can I weave the new growth through the fan leaf above it so it gets more light that way... My height limitations are not a problem as I can handle a mary jane plant bushy wise (just the right weidth and depth) and my height is right at 8 feet. So I mean, I can have a single row of 4 or 5 or 6 plants!

nope I weaved the new growth through the fan leaves. Like between two of the petals on the leafs I would move them apart and move the undergrowth that was blocked by the huge fan leaf to get light. It helps I think. Gives me something to do anyways.

I would go for the more plants. You can get more big colas that way. Either way, I would recommend FIMing or topping your plant a few times. There is a very noticeable increase in yield when done correctly.;)

well mainly I want to try and stick to 4 plants beacuse here its a misdomeaner and above that is a felony :P.
