morning gents, ive had one of my plants in flower now for about 5/6 days and this morning ive noticed what im pretty sure are white hairs:D.i really want to get a couple of clones off this plant but the problem is as i mentioned in earlier posts was that the plant stretched alot and didnt get bushy, the braches are only about 1 1/2" -2" in lenght.ive bought a cloning dome and rooting hormone and im gonna give the plant another few days in flower to make sure its a she,but with the branches being so short would the clones have any chance of survival.by the time ive planted my clones in my soil mixture, the stem would be buried and the leaves would be sitting on the soil mixture.would it be possible or should i leave her alone,,,PLZ HELP.

you should really only take clones in veg, as when you take them in flower they have to revert back to veg which is stressfull.they should be about 4" in leghnth with a couple of nodes.how old??

hmmmmmmmmm 2 months give or take,i waited till i got alternating nodes then put into flower about 6 days ago,its about 1 1/2 foot now an stretchin, but i have no nodes on the branches, just a branch and one set of fan leaves on each branch?

i`d wait, what sort of lighting are you using?? sounds like they may be under-developed. for 8 weeks of veg they should be atleast 1-2ft, and have plenty of branches suitable for cloning. sounds like light, or lack of it....

when i started i wasnt really ready so they were a good few weeks without enough light,i did add more lights but they just kept stretching,so i moved them to my window.i had one plant at the window already and boy did it get bushy, its as wide as high, hence why i moved all my plants to window, but i think the damage was done in early growth(stretching) so im not sure if the sunlight will get her bushy.does this mean i cant get a clone from her?
You can take a clone at "any" time during the life of that plant. The further it is into flowering though th elonger it potentially can take to root, and the longer it will take to fully revert to veg. I have taken clones at a week into flower more times than during veg,and have had no noticeable difference in he finished product.
But yes, you should wait until you have at least a 3" cutting to work with, but again you can do it with smaller,or larger. It just makes things a little trickier. Good luck

no, you could still take a clone although the chances of survival may be lower than "normal", maybe not though.
take your longest branch and cut it off at an angle, you know the rest, cloning gel works better than powder kind. make a few slits at the sottom of the clone, not too deep! good luck man, any trouble gimme a shout. peace.

And give it a shot of nitrogen a few days after it has been cut.
