another light question... upggrade bulb or not?

im putting together a game plan to start my own
grow room. I decided i will be going with a Digital 600w MH/HPS light
setup, from HTG. While browsing, it gives you options on upgrading
the bulbs from the ones they come with.

My question is.

The bulbs that comes with the system good enough?

System comes with Growbright 600HPS and ArgoMax600 MH bulb.

Is it worth the extra 30-40 per bulb to get the
Argromax 600 or Sunmaster 600 HPS bulbs
and Sunmaster 600w MH??

The bulbs it comes with are fine. I'm not sure about the higher ones as I haven't used them but I wouldn't pay that much extra.

errr... riiite....

If you have the extra $30 to fire into a bulb then ur good to go... they are good bulbs they put out a wider spectrum... I don't know anyone that swears by those bulbs... but I know some that use them... no complaints...... they usually put out less lumens then a 'normal' bulb thas my arguement at them... and they cost more...

lol .. well i dont' agree with that.

Sunmaster bulbs put out MORE lumens that most other brands including the cheapo brands.

i don't use them just because of the added cost and for the hobby grower with not alot of extra $ i wouldn't go for it. However if you got the money get the sunmasters. They last longer and burn brighter. Not to mention they have added blue for veg.. just my 2 cents there
