stalk strength

i have a few plants outside in solo cups...they are about a week old and looking pretty good...the only problem is the stalks are very thin and flimsy...what would be a good way to strengthen the stalks outdoors...i would just let nature take its course but i have to transplant them this week and i dont want to hurt them

If they're outside the stems should strengthen up pretty quick. While they are a bit weak make sure to keep them somewhere reasonably sheltered, so as that a strong wind doesn't flatten them.
