Is it possible to pollenate a plant with pollen from another type of plant? I was kinda high when i thought this would work, and thought that pollen from a coconut plant would be a cool/crazy idea.

Im not 100%.. but i dont think coconut trees produce pollen... i was always under the impression a lot of plants only have one sex.. like tomatoes for instance... they bare fruit..and the fruit contains seeds.. all from one plant...
