its not a good idea, first you cant grow a fullsize plant in a 2 liter bottel, and second its one plant per pot you might be able to separate them if there still young..

i was thinkin after they get so big chop the bottom of the 2lt off and toss them into a 3 gallon container, what i'm trying to figure out.. is if they will grow as one plant... like say the roots would connect or something i dunno... i've seen trees do it....

you know when 2 trees are growing right next to each other and they connect... something like that..

heh, you CAN grow a plant in the two liter, would mean more care and a bit more watering. but it's easily possible to grow one in a two liter. Joining 5 plants into 1, i'm not sure, i have seen trees do as you said though. But i'm not sure if planting them all by eachother would make them do that. But it seems plausable. I guess you'd have to give it a try. But i'd (if i were going to try to do this) just grab a 5 gallon bucket, fill it with soil and stick em in there for their final home.

Are you growing indoors or out? If you're growing inside what you could do(taking a lil from Dewaynes' post) is put them in a 10 gal pot/bucket. Veg them until they are 6 to 8 inches then flower them. A plant needs 1 gal for every ft of growth. Flowering them at 6 inches would give you a ft to 1 1/2 ft plant and flowering at 8 would give you a 16 to 24 inch plant at harvest. 10 gal, 5 plants, at 2 ft a piece. The problem with this is you may be growing males and if they were in seperate containers you could easily dispose of the males. If you're outside just transplant them into the ground and over crowding isn't a problem.

wow i am faced with that decision also right now in part of my grow,if i just cut the end of my 5 gal pot with 3 plants in it off and put it in a hole with soil it will be better than keeping it in the 5 gal pot?
i also herd about some kind of salts that the roots give off in to the soil after they eat the nutes?what is the result in that? oh yeah and would they get totaly shoked form the 110-115 temps out side if i were to transplant them?

pranic how big are they now? if you can, seperate them..if you grow five in one pot, a couple things could happen.. one definite thing is the roots will all be competing for nutes... a) one plant will dominate and the rest will end up scraggly and weak as hell ( i dunno if yer growing inside or out) or b) youll get lucky and a couple may make it through, but they wont do as good as the single plant in the a scenario.. this is just from my personal experience though! you may have better results! but if you do put them all in one bucket, dont drop the whole rootball of five plants in one hole, if it is possible, seperate them and give them some space.. good luck :D

they are only about 3 inches tall, starting on their 3rd set of leaves... yeah these ones are indoors, i just don't have the space to seperate them into seperate containers, i'm trying to hide these plants.... i figured they would end up rootbound eventually.. so that i already know i'm going to have problems with.. and yeah i might have a male, but i don't really care i'm not growing to smoke atm, i'm just trying to take up some of my free time lol. as for nutes and such i don't think i'm going to bother, just give em water and light see how they do... these 5 are my experiment.... i still wonder if they would grow to become one plant though?? anyone ever see that happen?

browning tips on the leaves and they're dying.. that could be many things acctually... not enough water... too much usually drop and poof the plant is dead the next day... mix your nutes 5-1 per gallon.. thats usually what i do... so it's nuted.. but still mostly water. then again i've had fan leaves die off and the plant was just fine.. so i dunno.. i'm not really an expert.. i'm just a learner

Pretty good question,

Getting them to grow together on purpose, I think, is what you are asking about. Yes it can be done, but you have to take the approach that you can lose both or more, The only way to accomplish this is by wounding the two plants , and then binding the stalks together. Too young and you kill both.
You would do far better to braid them carefully, or perhaps Bonsai one for a conversation piece. None of my true grafts ever even came close to working, and I know how to graft. Good Luck

i didnt know that was grafting lol! i usually accidentally graft mine i guess.. they get so heavy that the first V at the very bottom (from the very first pinch) always breaks down the center a bit due to all the weight... i usually tie tag it up and it heals in 3 days or so.. how is grafting weed benifit the plant? ive noticed on my latest one that the trunk below the initial V has gotten twice as thick since the breakage
