You ever watch family guy and louis is try to explain something to him and he replies saying "What?" repeatedly. Haha... I love that show. Anyways, what do you mean by a drip system specifically? :48:

What do you mean by a "slow drip ring"?
Is it a drip adapter of some kind?
Please, describe your system to us.
How big is your grow area?

Sounds like a Waterfarm.
You can use any kind of lighting as long as its either Floro tubes or HID's like metal halide or high pressure sodium, there is no specific light for hydro.
Its all up to your grow room size and how much money and what kind of results you expect.

Its about a 6ft x 4ft area but it can easly be reduced. Like right now the are still small so its at 4ft by 4ft area.

Well, for lighting there is one rule of thumb everyone around here likes to follow. That is 5,000 Lumen per square foot for veg and flower. There are many different lights and combinations of lights you can use to get this. It is all up to you whether you choose to use fluoro tubes or CFLs, HIDs or even LEDs. The sky is the limit. :smoke1:
