You are messing with something that is difficult to do if you have a finished home. Wiring goes inside of the walls. If this is for indoors then you first have to decide where you want this receptical placed. Do you have a finished ceiling with maybe an attic that you can access ? Got to have some info bro.

yea i figured you would answer smarty pants thanks btw.
i got an attic but it gets like 100 degrees outside and it gets about 130 in the attic.i could make a growroom perfectly in there if it werent so hot and no breez.
ive seen setups that ppl just have all the light fixtures fit into a piece of loose wood then they just wire them and screw the wood above thier grow area.thats what i wanted to do but i only need like 3 lights for 1 plant if im using 3 100watt cfl's.
i just need some help wiring im real dum and dont wanna start sumthin i cant finish

I got ya,
OK, To do the wiring yourself you need to settle on where to have it. I'm doing my box in my garage, can you do that ? or are you restricted to say a closet ? I can help you with the wiring if you would like. Remember that basic wiring needs to be the correct gauge for the load it will carry, and NORMALLY black is the hot, white is the common and green is the ground, but we will test together to make sure there are no problems, cool ?

Very good post man, my last house the electrician must been tripping or something when he wired my house. always test prior to re-wiring.
