Hey guys, I'm starting to grow, and I see how everyone is using differnt types of soils found at Home Depot or Wal-Mart and was wondering this...

My mom loves to grow plants...from flowers to are HUGE Veggie Garden....Now we have a compost that is filled with all sorts of stuff ( egg shells, banana peels, all stuf like that ) which supposively is GREAT for your plants to grow..

Now I was wondering could I use that to grow my marijuana in?

Yes you can. Your Marijuana well think you for it.

You can buy box store soil and mix some of your compost and some perlite and you have a beginning. Not compost alone.

compost piles are a great start to a perfect soil for our plant to grow in.a quick and easy recipe woule be as follows.

1 bag of perlite
1 bag of coco peat or a cheap fully organic bagged soil
dolomite lime to adjus the ph.
add the same amount of home cmpost as you do organic soil with no nutrients added.

a ph tester will be necessary and you might also want to be wary of any pests....keep neem oil handy.
