How long into flowering will the plant stop growing up and concentrate on forming buds?

There are many sources that have an effect on this so called "stretch period". Most importantly is the strain. Some strains will have very little stretch that will last a few days while others can stretch 2-3 times their original height for 2-3 weeks. Environmental factors play a large role too. Insufficient lighting, temperature issues or even the fertilizer or additives being administrated. But, on average, you can expect a plant to be 50-75% larger within 1 week of switching to flower. So, if height is an issue for you, you may want to look into some different forms of LST like a scrog for example. :farm:

Thnx DL, height is not a issue yet. I am in week 2 of flowering i still have a foot and a half to raise my lights. Alot of hairs are starting to show now so i think the streching is almost done i hope. They are sativas i'm pretty sure, and i know some of them can get crazy tall.
