seed but no balls?

:eek: i`ve got a few gals in week 5 flower and today i`ve noticed that one of them has seed in the bud. i`ve searched everywhere on the rest of plants, aswell as "it" but can see no balls.
i`m sure i would have noticed if balls appeared on any of them:( .
would hermie seed produce anything like this-bud and seed with no sign of balls?
or maybe there was some left-over pollen from my last grow which i`ve failed to clean properly:holysheep: .
anyone have any advice, should i get it out of the grow space before it can endanger the rest????
i can`t believe this has happened man, i was so sure i had this down:rolleyes: .
the reason i ask about the hermie seed, is on my last grow i had a couple turn hermie on me and one pollinated female, of which i used the seed.
all help,suggestions, anything,:fid: greatly apreciated.

forced..natural..or chemically induced..I have to believe it will remain a 'recessive' trait, throughout it's genetic lifetime.
to quote an old .."guru" .."Hermie seeds = poison pills"

..but, are you sure it is a "seed" and not just a swollen calyx?

i`ve chopped a bit of bud off Hick and the pistills are turning dark rusty, inside the calyx there is a small...well seed, although it`s just light green and only one comes from one calyx. but there`s no balls!
do i have to worry about my other ladies,should i remove it??

some of the "seed" are clear/cloudy, if that`s any help.
they are not quite recogniseable as seed but i think they are immature ones...
i`m in week5 flower, but i1ve just noticed this as i thought the pistills were turning dark a lil` too fast.

Sorry to hear that.
If you dont see any balls on your plants then I bet it was that pollen from your last grow, I had the same thing happen to me. That pollen is harder than ya think to clean up if it was just free to release it before.

spritz water all around to help destroy any extra, also turn down fans to the minnimum you need to help keep from spreading it further.

Good luck, if its just a small amount of bud that got pollenated, your buds will still keep there potency.

Keep an eye out, the two stigmas or "hairs" comeing out of the caylax will turn brown and shrivel up in no time once they are pollenated, long before you see any seed.

yeah i can see the stigmas are dark brown, the thing which is puzzling me is that it is only on one plant, a different strain from the rest.

is it possible for a plant with a "hermie trait" to produce seed without producing pollen?
this is only on one gal and the rest are fine-making me think that it`s the hermie trait.
i need advice dudes, do i let it grow out with the rest, or remove it alltogether
just in case i`ve missed some pollen somewhere(i have done a good search and can see no balls!)
