I would like to know your opinions. I want to start growing my own plants indoors. Have you used the EMILY'S hydroponic garden by Hydrofarm (6 sites using Hydroton pellets)? I just moved into an apartment and have 9 clones that I need to veg ASAP. I don't really have the time to build my own custom hydro setup right now and I've heard the EMILY'S system is effective and simple to use? Someone else on this site recommended http://www.homegrown-hydroponics.com as they have pre-built hydroponic grow box systems. Any advice or reviews are greatly appreciated. Please let me know ASAP. Thanks!

I went through the same problem you went through with lack of time and such to build my own box. HOWEVER, i MUST tell you that you will be disappointed when you get some of those grow boxes in. I looked closely at the products I researched and in my one day off during the week, I went to walmart, lowes and home depot (all on the same corner) and I was able to find EVERYTHING that comes with those boxes (including the rubbermaid outdoor sheds they use). I got the 6' tall by 3' wide cabinet and all the other bathroom vent fans and lights. Cost me approximately $200 for everything. Saved me $250 and I went and ordered my nutrients and misc. materials.
Total time to build only took my next day off work to build.
You might really want to look into gathering the materials yourself.

IMHO you should build your own. check out the DIY. Put the money you save towards a good HID light. You will be money and time ahead. sometimes the cheapest things cost you the most in the long run.
