I need help with soil

I live in Canada.What is the best soil to find in Wal-mart?What brand etc.

Avoid pre-fertilized soil mixes. Miracle grow potting mix is expensive and not good for seedlings (or growing MJ for that matter).

Pre-fertilized a no no. If you want something like that... at wal-mart cheap get the Jiffy Peat pot seed starting kit for 2 bucks. with the plastic greenhouse. Sprout your seeds in distilled water or the paper towel method, stick in there.

I would Sprout 'em in distilled water till the brack and show a tap root. then put in the generic potting soil w/ 20% combined perlite and Vermiculite in a 3 gallon bucket poke and drill of holes in the bottom and put draining gravel at the bottom (proper drainage is a must with soil).
So as not to have to transplant for a while. Hick also recomends adding 1 TBS of Lime (for PH adjustment and magnesium additive).
