I was minding my own buisiness, watching TV, and reading updates on this forum, when all of a sudden there is a knock at my door, guess who? LANDLORD! Surprise inspection. :holysheep: I have two seperate grow rooms set up not very well disguised, and I have 6 plants growing. So by the gods she forgot something (She lives on the same street) so she turns around to get it. I grab all 6 pots, running as fast as I can, and force myself to kill them all. Come to find out, she never saw them, and never even looked in the third bedroom where I was keeping them. (She glanced in there, but that's it.) So pretty much I have commited 6 counts of homicide, and am now plantless, about to cry. But wait! I forgot I have one seedling going still in an experimental outdoor grow (I live in the deep south) and it hasn't broke ground yet. I'm still considering bringing it inside, but I don't feel right storing my only baby at the murder scene. So I guess after she comes back (I got the feeling she will) I just may start another grow, but I'm not sure if it's safe anymore..... :fid:
Take some cuts right now,and clone them!

Murder the person who made you murder your plants? It'll make you feel better.
Man, thats terrible news, crazy what we do without thinking. How far gone were they?
Take some cuts right now,and clone them!
:yeahthat: Get more stealthier ;)
Oh and review your lease...doesn't sound right landloard coming for suprise inspection after dinner....not "southern politness" Everyone in the south knows...only family/freinds or LEO comes a visiting after dinner. Not a freakin landlord...I'd be raising holy hell.

Thanks all. I raised hell with the landlord, but I didn't see it wise to get the police involved when my house has hidden pot parephenelia in every nook and cranny.... Not to mention a lot of growing supplies. I would of got a cut, but I buried the plant (I was scared) and forgot where I did it.

I am utterly confused..
you ran out of your house and started burying your plants, while your landlord turned their back?
:holysheep:

Im cofused too, first i had the impression you ran into the room, swung your arms in a crazed frenzy and wind mill chopped your plants like bruce lee.
Now it seems like after realising what tragedy you caused, that you'd also get rid of the hope of taking cutting by burying them. did you bury whislt she was there? if she wasnt, then why would you of had to bury them?

That's what I thought too, but your visual was way better. :D
Oh and sorry about your plants. What a bummer.

I am sorry to hear this news as well. You might think about buying an armoir or that of the likes and do a grow in there. This would disguise them as a storage space ment for clothes or t.v.'s?

Lmao. You guys are a trip. Nah, I karate chopped the plants when the landlord went back to her house for a minute (In retrospect, I think maybe she saw them and didn't want to know so she pretended she never saw anything and went home and was hoping I would move them.

I've been trying to think of an alternative to what you did (murder). I know they're pretty much dead and gone now, but I want you to think about it. Think of it as a apology to them.

Shall we have a funeral for those poor plants? :(

I think that is a very good idea, do you care to give the eulogy? Everyone please bow your heads...

Oh trust me, I'm sorry. This was my first grow. Imagine how many hours were spent looking, thinking, and talking to those plants. One of the last things said to me before she left was, "As long as you take care of the place, I don't care what you do here" I don't know how to interpret that.... All I know is six innocent plants are dead, by my hands, and I feel awful.

Why did you say that... I haven't even seen the plants and I'm close to crying. I can't believe she really said that... I bet she knew...

its all good..
bettter to be safe than sorry.
invest in a key locked door knob, that you only have a key to.
Seal the door with no light leaks.
Land lord comes over by suprise, either you can't find the key or
you or your girls has the key but isn't home.

It's all good, maybe I should of thought it out a little more. I should of reasoned out somethin better. The out door one has yet to sprout (Just started it last night) Good Idea mr. Not sure WHY I didn't think of that....

your plants aren't dead yet.
Believe me.. years ago, when i was a kid, i grew a plant
outside on my parents deck ledge. one windy night,
the wind blew it over, the pot laid upside down with
plant underneath of it.. for probably a week or two.
I sat the pot upright, thinkkng it was done.
come bck a week or two later, it was alive and thriving.
to bad you dont remember where you burried them,
they might still grow, if you are deep south enough.
I choped my male plants at the base, and after a couple of days
outside, a shoot started growing on the cut stalk at the base.
It finally died after it dried out. BUt if I would of watered it.
it would of grown.

I forgot about the other one... grow this one to the best of your abilities... give it all money can buy... talk to her at all hours of the night... in honor of the others. :D

They could be. There is a reason why plants DNA are 1000X more complex than human genome.

That's a nice little piece of interesting info...
Damn, go and dig those babies up.

I was really suprised by that little trivia myself.
How can a simple plant have more complex dna than humans and etc.
my professors said one sentence
" when you get hot in the sun, you move to cool off;. A plant change
their genetic make up for the survival of the species"
I thought about it, and it all made sense.

So basically no species of plants will ever go extinct? Sounds pretty amazing... will have to research a little.

Good news, I salvaged the biggest one! (I am not very hopeful, they were young)

actually they do.. but the ones that live, had to adapt their genetic code, while saving everything since its inception.
it amazing if you think about it. simple vegitation is the most complex
thing on the world. perplexing actually.
