Height question

I am restricted to how high my plant can get the space I have is 2 1/2 feet tall so should I use the low resistant training method where you tie down the plant during veg or should I just let it grow? How long should I let it veg before I harvest it and switch to the 12/12 lights? because doesnt it like double in size during the 12/12 cycle. thx for all the help.

Yeah, the plant will double in SIZE during flower, but that doesn't have to mean height. Tie the plants down if height is an issue. they will just grow more tops that way.
