I have a beautiful little outdoor ganja garden of my very own, but there are two problems I would like some help with. A number of the plants, clones which I obtained from a friend, are around 70 % sativa. There is only a month or two left in the growing season here and the sativas only started budding this past week. The indacas I started myself from the seed of a crop I grew two years ago and have been budding for almost 4 weeks now. The sativas are budding fast for plats of their genetic make up, probably do to the amount of light they are getting and the ever cooling temperature. Nevertheless, my first question is this; do you think that they will finish in time? I know there isn’t anything I can do, but I’m still curious to here what you think. Secondly, after they started to bud some of the older fan leaves began to die and drop off, turning from yellow to brown before falling. I have seen this before when the plants start to bud they need a little extra energy and so they extract it from already grown leaves. The first time I saw this I became worried and neurotic, which caused me to over fertilize and eventually kill a number of my precious plants. I know now that you can over fertilize until the leaves of your plant turn to leather and you are still going to get a few yellow leaves. Only this time the yellowing persisted and even increased as my girls continued budding. I thought it might be a nitrogen deficiency, but it doesn’t seem too likely. I fertilized with bat guano, rabbit manure and fish emulsion during vegetative growth and Botanicare pure blend during flowering. The problem might still stem from a nitrogen deficiency, but I wanted to know if you guys could think of anything else it might be?

Thanks in advance –
FP

any pics bro? that would be extremely helpful, but i would go buy some testing supplies and do some ph tests, along with some N,P,K tests

look for one called a Rapid Tester, should pull right up in any search engine
if there budding theres gonna be a very little amount of nitrogen compared to other minerals, whats ur feeding schedule too?

No. There is 12 of them, which is too many to rent a space in my friends house and I don’t have the kind of money needed to start my own grow room. I was going to build one with the money from this years harvest. Ironic isn’t it?

Once every two weeks, alternating foliar and tea.
