thats ridiculous. i was about to say what the hell would u use that for unless u like turn ur entire garage into a grow room and even then u only get to use the bulb for 250 hours before it burns out. garbage. and at 2300 a piece. yikes. thats not a ballast thats a damn spot light. could u imagine trying to jimmy-rig that thing up so it was hanging the right way cuz all those do is pivot on that tripod.
Hey Ktown....don't think it matters where the hell that thing pointing...it'll illuminate everything. :p
dang things prolly so bright you won't have a shadow....just beam right through ya at 10' :bolt:

thats bright enough to make u go blind if ur eyes are exposed to it directly for more than 4 hours
ktownlegend

and i'd also be willing to bet it would matter where u pointed it, cuz it'd probly start stuff on fire quit easily. lol
4 hourse
thank god i dont know 4 :p

Spotlight like at big events....the ones that have that massive beam that reflects off the clouds. Only thing I can figure it for.

i vote some one with enough money to purchase that light and space provided should attempt a grow with one of those bad boys. jsut to see what exactly that many lumens would do to growing plants. other than burn ur house down or make u go blind. probly need a welding mask to even look at it directly.
50lbs? huh? only 50 geez whatu doin wrong with a light like that u should be going through the veg cycle in about 48 hours and the flowerig cycle in about a week with at least 75lbs per plant man. step it up a lil. lmfao

Only Las Vegas could boast the world's brightest, most powerful beam of light.
Shining from the top of the Luxor Hotel & Casino (which replicates an Egyptian
pyramid) the 315,000-watt light beam is visible to airplane passengers from as
far as 250 miles away!

315 THOUSAND Watts!!!! Thats enough wattage for 6,300 sq.ft. @ 4 plants per square foot....25,200 plants

The Luxor used to have even more growing capacity until the FAA told them they had to turn it down because it was interfering with air traffic. Sunglasses anyone?
