View Full Version : soil in a little to high toward the alkaline side

ok i finally found a place to get a soil and moisture meter in my area so i got it and did the tests just to see how my soil (potting) mix is doing and its a little bit alkaline normal from what ive read is about 6.0 to 6.8 for soil bound plants and my soil is tipping near 8 i need a fix any suggestions would be great i was thinking of just getting some Ph Down and adding is this a good idea the plants are flowering but not budding still have about 6 weeks left of flower time so there may be hope... help please

i get it dumb ignorant question to post right :o but heck it is my first grow and after reading so much here :hubba: i am trying to be sure i can get all i can out of the experience:cool:

If it aint broke dont fix it.
