garden space?

i have an 8 by 9 room available for use. i have 20 feminized white widow seeds. i need to know with approx. 72 sq ft available how many plants i can start up with. i plan on using 3 to 5 gallon buckets. can the buckets be right next to one another or do the need some space? any suggestions? thnxs

What lighting setup are you going to be using. I would worry about having enough light rather than more plant. alot of plants with little light will not amount to much.

id go witht he 3 gals one plant per pot and with that kind of space provided if you have the lighting figured out and the funds to run it they should all fit in that space very well but im still new at this myself i have 4 plants in a 2x3 box all in one potter and they have twisted and turned around each other as they grow and needed more room each plant has gotton to be about 2' wide as its gotton to the flowering stage and will take up all the room you can give it

i have a 1000 wt hid and a 600 wt hid. i also have 3 or 4 flouresents to use in the seedling

general rule when it comes to lighting and indoor grows is 5000 lumen per sq ft so 78 sq ft x 5000 = 390000 lumen. so alot would depend on what kind of lumen your bulbs put off most most 1k lamps will cover a 5'x7' area fine so id say you may need about 4-5 1k hps/mh lamps for the room

ooooooooookkkkkkkkk then you gonna need lots of watts in that house.. make sure you plug them in a syrge protector otherwise theyll start a wire.

I would be dividing the room up some. veg area and flower area. Use both hids in the flower and flos in the veg.
A room that big....like hick said "quite an undertaking"
Also in the section a workbench or something to sit at to take cuttings/harvest/what not would be good as well.
