I understand that for the most part, the SOP here is huge, dank nugs.
However, I am curious if anyone has ever attempted a "shwag" bagseed grow, and if so, how'd that work out for ya'?
PICS??? Please?

Man, I just edited my posts like 4 times. I couldn't remember when I did them. I did some investigating. I remembered that I wrote the date on the dome i used to germ them. To clear things up, I took them from the bag and put them in peat pellets on 8-19. I was right the first time, lol, I can't believe I couldn't remeber. They are growing quickly. I may start a grow journal for them.

YAY Jersey!

I also bought some 100w CFL Daylight Bulbs... and I was afraid I got the wrong kind because they said "Daylight." Look's like they work out alright...

Thanks :D

At first they filled out nice. Now, they are starting to get a little vertical, lol. I'm seeing alt. nodes on some of the lower branches, but I'm not sure if I should flower them yet.

Im limited on space. I need to flower the first chance I get. I'm not expecting much. Just want to complete a grow before I buy all the stuff i need for a real grow.

MUTT: Those were bagseeds from "SHWAG" (or whatever you guys call it: dirt weed, low-grade, whatever......)?!?!

It was standard commercial weed.
I have found better results from "over-seeded" bud than the good bud with the occasional seeds.
It is not as potent as store bought seeds, but 100% of the time a bagseed grown right produces better bud than the bag it came out of...Just gotta watch for them hermies.
That plant produced an array of smells during flower...from blueberries to the smell of a dead skunk. Curing was interesting too as far as smells...finished out with barely any smell at all...but it gave me a very nice buzz.

WOW. THANKS, Brother. All my friends have been telling me that it would be a waste of my time to attempt the seeds I have that aren't Cronic.

When its really great bud with only 1-2 seeds in the bag....typically hermied.
When its seeded bud then it was randomly pollenated in a field. Less chance of a hermie. In my experience.
Don't expect bud like from genetics from dutch passion or something...I ussually grow a bagseed when setting up a new area with a HID. Rather kill a free bagseed working out bugs in an op than a seed I paid money for.

I learned not to over water. I guess I was over watering because I wanted to do something with them. The more I looked at the pics i posted the more louis's post confused me. I was like, hmm, maybe they are older. Then I looked at some dates I realized I was right the first time. I just bent the main stem over a bit and tied it yesterday. They still look good. I guess they aren't hurt.

Yeah dude, I said that because mine are puny. Mine broke ground the 20th. Oh well, watch out I'll be catching up soon cause I moved it to outdoors. (I know, bad idea this late in the season, but I guess this is better then what I had going on. My plant sucks.)
