Is there a time when you dont have to worry about your plant turning hermie? I have been trimming my plant almost daily during flowering to keep the big leaves from shading the buds. I am worried about causing a hermie . Any Comments? suggestions? Thanks all

How far into flowering are you? I was always taught not to prune during flowering. But if you have to I wouldnt do it past the 1st week maybe 2weeks. It could cause alot of stress on the plant and could cause the plant to go hermie. As far as triming the big fan leaves, I'm pretty sure the plant needs those big fan leaves for catching light. I would just try to move the leaves around so they arent shading the buds. A plant needs at least 50% of its leaves to stay alive. This is just what I've learned and its what I go by.
Buds don't utilize light.."photosythsize"...Leaves DO...Removing healthy leaves is never beneficial to your plants IMHO.
