Color of dried, cured, colored buds?

After looking at some pictures of some of these amazing
colorful buds, that some of you are growing are beautiful.

Which leads to this question.

Does the buds retain their color, after harvest, dry and cure??

Well we notice our bud gets somewhat lighter in color after it's been curing for awhile.

Heres a few buds of my AFxPW. The one on your left is still hang drying and still retains its green color. The bud on the right is curing and notice how it has a grayish color now.http://www.marijuanapassion.com/Gallery/data/500/medium/bud1.jpg

I think it kinda depends on the weed itself. I've bought some bags that are still VERY green, some that are brown, and some that are almost white.

It all depends on strain and length that you leave them to cure I think.

im talking about the color of the buds, like purple, reds, pinks and etc.
when the BUD are in full bloom, some are really colorful.

im just wondering if they keep some of those colors after dry and cure.

I would expect the green to fade, as the chloriphyl works its way out.
