Hey guys, I'm new to this and am honestly worried about ordering any thing on line. I would like to find a bulb and lamp around 600 watts for one or two plants. Do you guys know of any stores that would have some thing like this?? Home Depot, Lowes, help?

Do google search or yellowpages.com for hydroponic shops in your area. I did that and found 2 within reasonable distance. I did see some t5 flouros at Lowes, but way more expensive than most simular things on the internet.

Might be too much heat, but there's no limit to the amount of light...

I agree, however you could grow a GREAT plant with a 250w, but imagine a 600w :o Id love to see the outcome

I think what JeSus meant was, that's alot of un'needed energy going down the drain, gotta watch that light bill.

It's gonna plateau at some point though, you'll have to feed it more CO2 to start using the extra light.

OK so right now we are just testing, i put some seeds in a towel and my first seed came out and the shell fell off soo my buddy rushed to the store and just picked up a 125 watt grow light and some soil. Its a very very ghetto set up right now, but we are currently just experimenting. I just wanted to ask 1. How much water should I add, and when they say roots, do they mean visible roots, or just the actual seed opening??

I drive about 1 hour to the closest hydro store. :watchplant: Their prices are good and they sell lots of used items @ a reduced price. they stand behind anything they sell new or used. MAKE SURE YOU PAY CASH !!!! You don't want any of the growing suplies showing up on a debit or credit card.:cop: I did a search like safe growing indoor MJ on Yahoo and found lots of very helpful things. Lots you would never think of. seems like you are off to the right start by being SAFE Keep doing your home work and I am sure you can get what you need and not have a lot of worries. If you are going to be scared of a bust its not worth it.:hairpull: Grow with low stress on your self be safe and have fun watching your grow. :aok: GOOD LUCK:aok:
