ok im doing so much learning and research on here and have so many questions that i cant even think straight now.... but here is the thing i see that for veggin 6500k color temps are good and thats what ive been runnin in my box (8 g.e. daylight T12 fluro 3050 lum 6500k ) and i also have a clone box that ive been using (6 g.e. kitchen and bath T12 fluro 3400 lum 3000k) now my big box is flowering and is supposed to be under lower color temps so should i really switch out the daylights (6500k color temps) for the kitchen and bath (3000k color temps) during the flower or will my girls be just as happy with the daylight bulbs still in the box
and on another note they seem to be curling down on a few of the new fans but then seem to straighten out after a few days is this from the high color light still it cant be heat the temps stay about 80f at all times
have pics already posted in thread http://www.marijuanapassion.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17593

higher lumens, lower temp.
your temp can get up to 90 (wouldn't recommend until day before harvest) and I'm sure there isn't much heat from the FL's.
either way, they're gowing to grow, but I wouldn't think the color temps should really affect the plant a lot..I could be wrong, but I've never had a problem. Just try and get as many lumens as possible for your flowering stage.
good luck with your grow..

you want light in the blue region of the spectrum for veg, and then a more orange/red region for flower. HPS is better for flower and a metal halide is better for veg.you can use either all the way through a grow and still get good results. although that means nothing as your using flouro`s,lol.
but the spectrum thing for photosynthasis at differing stages of growth.
good luck dude

now im really cornfused bad im gonna have to go and burn one just to figure out what all that ment im not using mh or hps for heat reasons my boxes are all wood and hold in lots of heat (i know this can be fought with fans for the mh or hps but cripes those units are lots more than i can really get my hands on now) thats why i went 70's style in my set up and went fluro
my question really goes if i switch to the lower color temps for the rest of the flower will they come out faster but it seems that eveyone agrees that they will be o.k. so long as i just keep the time of the lighting right now on 12/12 till the end of the month and then going to 10/14
