any chance to survive ?

hey,
this is my first clone and i dont know what to expect. should it look like that ? its allmost 48 hours , and i think i do it right . i spray it maybe once a day , couple of times to my dome , and i put it in a cup of grow mix , but , i took a scoop from the center and filled it with per/var mix . i was afraid from the ferts is the mix , i think its to strong cause i burned some seedlings with it.
i used clonex as the rooting hormone , and keep it lightly moisture.
will it live ? am i doing something wrong ?

To be honest i dont think it will,it proberly better to use rockwel cubes or even the water cloning way rather than using soil.Its been 48 hours if it were to survise it should still be standing up what light do you have it under maybe its to hot,bright or something

Next time just make clones and put them under a dome. No drafts and keep the fluro close to the top of the dome.
I never use ferts on seedlings.
I start them in pucks and then transplant into my mixture of soil.
I give them a slight spray daily too.

I've started clones in rockwool, jiffy pellets and soil and imo the soil worked the best. A humidity dome might help a lil but the last clone I took(white widow in my sig) was in a lil 8 oz cup with soil, no dome. I spray mine a few times a day and I give them very light strength bloom nutes(phospho is good for roots). Yours looks like they maybe got an air bubble in it. Make sure you make your cuts under water to prevent that.

gonna try onother one , got my self a dome , rockwool cubes and some more knowledge , thanx to you people , i apreciate the help very much.:)

If you can get ahold of some rapidrooters you will find them much easier than rockwool. Another amazing product for cloning is SM-90. It is a wetting agent. Spray one time with this stuff,and you shouldn't have to spray them again.:cool:

whould you belive i cant get any soil mix ... only peat , i dont think i like peat. maybe the small things i can order by mail.....
any ways , my second attempt is going good so far , 3 days old ,
i pray (and keep humidity).
