whats up everyone. i see all kinds of new people joining the forum yet they dont intoduce themselves. whats up with that. you would think thats the first place a new person would post. i think it should be manditory that a new person post in the intoduction thread before posting anywhere else. what do you think?

Botha'G, A "required" intro seems a bit much.."IMHO"
I don't believe I ever made an introduction post.
Our doors are open. We wouldn't want to make folks 'uncomfortable' or pressured in order to post.

Millittia...you are beginning to irritate me. Post something relevant, please.
Stop hijacking posts with your "gun bragging".
Nobody cares to hear it, OK.

If you wish to talk about your guns, join a gun forum, milittia forum, hunting forum. There are hundreds. If you lack the ability to find one, I can give you a few links.
But, this isn't the place.
Thanks..

heee heee tha's cool TBG, I find myself with "fingers in motion, before brain is engaged" pretty often. Thanks for the suggestion, it shows you have a valid interet in improving the site.
I'll leave this up for a few days. For mmilittias benefit, though judging from the number of posts of his, that either I or someone else has corrected, deleted, or generally condemned for content, I don't believe he will even see it.

hehehehehehe. Seeing how this thread has nothing to do with me. I am just going to hit the quote button and throw in an irrelevent statment. Like "I like green eggs and Ham with a side of gunpowder". :p

(B. Grunt: yeah I am going with Hick on this one, but I think it would be polite for them to introduce themselves)

twice now: look my post numbers went up by two. (even though I have a bunch). My irrelevent statement: "I like to smoke moldy bud, it gives me a strange high, then I get my AK and shoot at my town hall". :p

(wow my first flaming, I feel dirty, I'm going to take a shower now, I am ashamed. I do not condone this kind of behaviour (I am a hypocrit now :( ).

Howdy folks:

I think I was the one of two that voted "no" to that question.
And I have to agree on that "MMilitiaR" person. I do't particularly like his posts either.

Cheers all.

Just a thought on this topic.

Maybe if the "Introduce Yourself" thread was closer to the top of the forum. More people MAY use it.

Hello, just found this thread, someone up above said that maybe if it was up higher in the list it might be used more often. I would have if I would have seen it, sorry. I am new and posted an inquiry about holding urine in a thermos but no one responded, I guess that is why, so now I introduce myself...what do you want to know about me? I have been a smoker for over 30 years, more dedicated in my earlier years, now I like it for parties and R&R, to me it is better than drinking, and fortunately I am in a position now that I don't have to worry about any testing, but I have friends who do so I hunt info for them since I am very good at finding research. I hope this website will help us out, thanks for whoever reads this...talk later

hey all. I dont agree it should be manditory but yeah introducing yourself is a good thing. It took me a while to post an introduction because frankly i didnt see the link untill i read a post from GreenDayGirl. If "Introduce yourself" was at the top i think more ppl would post.

Dude you can either introduce yourself or not it's all up to the person. This thread was a suggestion and was put up when i myself was a newbie. None of the older members are pissy because newbies are over here. Christ dude we were all newbies one time or another.

Thats a good point. The introduction section is farther along down the forums page and a lot of newbies will miss it, getting side tracked by all the learning they have to do and all the pretty pictures along the way lol...we've all been there ;)

Edit: Just noticed that MP has moved the introduction section, so now its nice and clear right up top! Thanks MP! :D

Yes, sounded like a good idea :-)

btw. i think i will at another category on top, for anouncements and news and there we can add the "introduce me" section too. what do you guys think?

Alot of people don't introduce themselves because they get flammed (yelled at, hated upon) for doing that on other forums. Some people aren't used to loveable, caring pothead forums.

nice to see mods mellow with time; thars hope yet hehehe been reading some of the posts, hell, i would be scared to post intro after reading some of the comments. it takes time fer peeps to get comfortable in any new forum, i did not post fer quite some time. then i got blasted as my way is different then others. i have been called crazy as a loon by some. there are differences of growing, opinions, language barriers, political views ect.... so give us all time; newbies and old timers alike

you should visit the european forums; the brits are the worst when you do things different. IMHO i got kicked right off planet skunk fer having the balls to suggest that 1000w HID and or fluero's are great ways of growing. how did i know that they all use 600w there. oh, and they have 600w blues too. they dont know what a T5 grow tube is. i got flamed and booted

u no whats funny is tis kid s just joking around probably with too much tine on his hands but.................in todays world (which is OBVIOUSLY not perfect) there is alot of unjust $spent on tracking people down who make comments(TERRORISTIC THREATS) ABOUT BEING CRAZY AND OWNING FIRE ARMS. THEN SOMETHING WAS MENTIONED ABOUT drugs. i dont know about u but alot of rights u.s.citzens have(had) are thrown right out the window when these things are mentioned. i would rather lay low and let idiots like this take the heat.............................lefty

Hey Astra. If you talking about Mmalitia or what ever. Go search his name and look at his posts. You'll see why everyone was quite ticked off with him. There has been 1 other. His name will remain un-mentioned. There was a lot to those persons than can't be judged by this thread. The mods rarely ban. when they do its for a very ligitamite reasons that the public side of the forum may not know about. ;)
