well here it is about 45 days into my indicas flower and the trichs are starting to get cloudy :woohoo: so with this im hoping for an end of Oct mid Nov harvest of my first ever plant :D as for the sativa that is in the same planter as it its going to be a while and i now understand why it is smart to only have one plant in one potter (root bound plants will grow very slow) even if the potter is 3 CU' them roots are so tangled up that its slowing them down but here soon ill just have the one in it and then :watchplant: :giggle: and ill tell you guys and gals this if that indy smokes as good as the bit that i cliped and microed tasted then its gonna be :48: :stoned: :stoned: :stoned:
sorry no trich pics or any for that matter the camera is off to the zoo for the day but ill try to get some on later (i could now but its a cam phone and them pics **** bad) plus then i may/may not be abole to get trich pics too

there isnt any amber trichs that ive seen as of yet but im still :watchplant: them and really only about id say 20% of the ones that ive seen on this very small piece i checked over it was only about the size of the top end of a pen cap and i took it from a lower branch of the plant i check on them about 1 time a week from different places on the plant top bottom middle one side then the other inside of the plant then outside and keep switching it up this is only my 3rd check on them but its progress

:woohoo: well after all this trich talk i had to go and see if i couldnt find at least one amber trich sooooooo i went in and got me another piece off another limb (got about an inch worth of leaf this time to do a real inspection) and low and behold i found quite a few prolly about 12% on this piece that were amber about 58% were cloudy and 30% were clear so now im so anxious that im about to pee myself im thinking that i may jsut wait till all hallows eve and take her down the main cola on this plant is the one that i shown in the BOTM ppic but since that shot was taken she has packed on some serious girth around the head and body was about 2" around and now stands about 5" around so im pumped and ready to get to the harvest and cure cause im ready to skip buyin a bag or so :woohoo:

check out my journal, i started with a whole bunch of bagseed, couple of mistakes and males later and i ended up with 2, then 2 months later i got some awesome bud that had seeds in it also and there are the other 2, so yeah, no idea what i got growing.. LOL...
Im just glad ill be harvesting, i put my plants thru hell so i could get some experience, didnt think anything was going to make it...
i just chopped my smallest plant since it had the most in amber trichs and now is drying in the closet. small buds but at least is something..
im looking at chopping the bigger plants 3-4 weeks from now and the other smaller one 1-2 weeks from now..

Waiting for them amber Trichs.. <-- make ya go nutes.
I check my trichs on the calyix the leaf and all over.
all i get are cloudy trichs..
Im suspecting the "Cha ching " from fox farm which states it extends
the flowering time.. REALLY extends the flowering time..

hey Mr.P yeah ive seen in a few posts that youve been watchin them trichs for a while now and they still havent turned man that stuff must extend the flower cycle strong but never fear im sure that it will come i havent used any nutes on mine well i did use some i started some plant food with them a few weeks back but nothing serious for blooms and flower just food for them since the MG i was planted in was starting to wash and wear out of my potter but man o man am i excited now these are my first ever plants and i was doubted by alot of people that are dependant on my green thumb to get us by for our meds
you said that you check the trichs on the calyix too how do you do that one isnt it when they start to brown that its ready too

From what I read, when the Pistol hairs are mostly 90% brown
its near harvest time, but to still check the TRICHS.
I check the TRICH on the BUD, but holding the cola, putting the radio
shack microscope up against it using left hand, focus with my Right hand.
IMO way better way to check for TRICHs. get a 3D view, unlike checking
on the leafs..

yeah the caylix on mine is aobut 3% browning but i might have to try putting my micro right up on it i take little clips here and there when i test and i hate to do that cause i dont wanna hurt the plant by taking a little cut here and there id rather do it with the leaves on i think i may just go and see if i notice any more coverage with your method thanks Mr.P
