something inbetween my stalk and branches

whereever a branch is coming out of the main stem their are two little green things that come out in the shape of a v like this...< its right on the top side aginst the main stalk and the branches ..any ideas of what this is would be helpfull

Most MJ plants have those. Don't know what they're called, but have no bearing on the whether the plant is male or female.

They are more branches and leaves. If you leave the plant in veg you will get branches forming there.
