We are not gonna mess with outdoor lights this year...call me Scrooge. ;)

We do however have a prety tree all lit up and beautiful. I'll take a pic later on.

I had to go and try it to see after all it is a delicate plant and some of them light and wire sets can be real heavy. to be safe i only used half (and IMO that almost was too much) of a strand of mini lights. it didnt light it too bad not enough sturdy branches to hold too many lights and the bulbs only looked like they saying lets go and rip up some fans too much to be trusted, so they didnt make the trial cut...

edit: no fan leaves were hurt in the making of this picture

I can see it its a 10 LED panel that you attach to each limp and it sits jsut off of the fan leaves and points back toward the mainstem for total coverage :rofl:

after reading this i got inspired and decorated my plant for christmas. i got twinkle lights and some silver balls i was going to put a star on top but after looking at the top bud i decided that wouldnt be a verry good idea.
