ok so i have a few timers. each one works fine in the kitchen for my veggin plant. goes on and off on time. but when i use it in the closet for my flowering female, the timer keeps the right time, but does not seem to want to trip the light. has anyone experienced this problem? or do i just have the worst luck? it gets stressfull having to get up at 6am and bein right there at 6pm to make sure everything is kosher..

Get a new timer they are cheap

maybe you dont have the heavy Duty timer.
If you have the normal one, i dont think it would work for a high wattage HPS or something.

what is the diff? I just use cheap 6 dollar normal timer's on my 1k's.. if the little tabs are in place it has no choise but to turn on and off lol

EH could be right here if what you are saying is they work until you use them in the flower room then they dont work again.

Timers are rated for so many amps and if you go to high then the contacts can weld shut or open. This is why I built this one for high current loads.
