I used diff buckets this grow and after my last transplant before flowering i noticed roots coming to the surface. I know roots dont like light, should i throw a cup of dirt over the exposed roots? Why do the roots come to the top? I use plenty of pearlite so the nutes are getting through. I'm confused.

throw some dirt on your roots. if you wanna stay on the safe side, put some black plastic over the bucket (around the stem) to keep any other light off...just a suggestion
