can i just use this fertilizer during vedge?

the plant is in a pro mix substrate, in a small closit with 4 26 watt 6500k daylight bulbs and a rotating fan. i just bought this fertilizer from a local greenhouse and im wandering what you think about it. http://elawngarden.com/item.php?itemID=130 the instructions say to use it everytime you water and its one teaspoon per gallon of water, so im planning on useing one fourth teaspoon and useing it every other time i water i dont know this is my first grow so tell me how you would use this, and will i need anything else...:confused2:

looks like strong stuff man IMO i wouldnt use it before them plants are at least 3 weeks old and then only use it in veg you wont want to flower with that high of an N content, from that discription on the package your going to have 20 (N) 20 (P) 20 (K) or 20-20-20. Again IMO your better off with something that is 7-3-3 during veg and then switch to some 3-7-3 for flower, as your plants will want more P then. Some nutes that are too strong right off will burn the snot out of your plant and untill you know how your plants will react to the nutes be easy with them :bong2:

im using 5-1-1 with a 110 watt grow bulb. 10,000 lumens. i use it every time i water. i use double strenght for my bush grow. so ill probably go with a 0-10-0 for flowering that way i can double or tripe it if needed. peace!

Hey - not a problem on the water sol. ferts 20-20-20. I use the same thing in Peters' 20-20-20 water soluble nutes. Great for vegging in my experience.

Check out the Afghani link in my sig. Today i posted a vegging female who is getting the same ferts. I use it every other watering. 1 tsp / gal...

Hey Dubb - always hate to contradict a good response.........:o. I know most of the nutes for MJ are very low in all 3 number ratios. For vegging, I have had great success with the water soluble 20-20-20.

But, I would recommend strongly that flowering ferts for MJ like Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom be used when flowering. Fox Farm is great for beginners as well. Big Bloom is also organic which a lot of growers prefer.
