Sorry about repeating the same basic questions at various links .
I fished around to find the "reply mother lode"
Would still like to hear some more from people with experience in SOG WW-BB gardening.
Coffee Table seems to be the place to go if you don't have patience.
Is the subject of this " Bud Pic " realy that blue ?

I am growing some WW right now, but if BB is Blue Berry I can help you, it's in my constant rotation. What do you want to know? And I do some of the grows SOG.

If you look up the thread where that pic of the month was chosen, the author admits that the lighting is largely due to the grow lights. He shows a normal pic to compare.

Suggles:
How difficult is BB (yes I meant blue berry)to grow compared to the widow? I see that they say BB is nutrient sensetive . what's the story on that?
I grow in soil ,and I grew a Skunk for 9 years .
I found the widow to be more difficult (i.e. less forgiveing of mistakes and or laziness )
Is the berry as finicky as the widow ,more so, less so .
what kind of yield comparison ww vs. bb.
Basically I want every bit of knowlage on the subject that you have.
Demand SOB aren't I.

Hey there. OK the WW is only about 2 weeks ols so it wouldn't be fair for me to compare the two just yet. Yes BB is a bit finicky with the nutes, I noticed more so in flower than veg. It likes some food but not a lot. What I do with most of my plants is feed, water, feed water etc. with BB I do fedd water, water, and then more feed. I also noticed my paticular clones/mom seem to like the top dressing feed better. I also do my preharvest flush a bit earlier...I noticed this brings out the Blue color in them. So I would not worry too much about overfeeding just take it slow see how the plant likes the feed and then just take it easy on the feed, always give them a lesser dose. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but I don't want to comment on WW till I flower some. One thing I can say is in the seedling stage so far the WW seems an easier one to grow. Good luck, maybe some Blue Widow in your future?LOL

P.S. I forgot to mention that I tend to grow my BB 100% organic and no liquid fertilizers...I use guanos and other organic soil amendments. Although I have had OK grows too with liquid ferts. I just noticed my paticular BB really likes to be top dressed with guanos...also hard to burn but you can still overdue it.

Also I should mention that I have BC BB not the Dutch Passion version, no biggie but it may make a small difference. Also check out my gallery I have some BB in there if you are curious. Good luck and let us know what you decide on...:D
