Also amazing is how the brain will put words together when you hear only part of the sounds. i have tenitis (loud high pitched ringing in the ears) and some times my brain will tell me i heard something very different from what was said. This happens most often when a woman speaks, as treble sounds are hardest to hear correctly. Sometimes what i hear and what is said is very funny, sometimes it is so odd the brain just tells me i didnt hear anything. the brain fills in the gaps of sound.
