Not gonna bore anybody with info on how to care for your worms or what they eat. That has been covered in other threads. This is an idea I came across on a gardening forum a few years ago (can't remember which one).
Build a box like in the diagram with untreated wood. Drill holes on the bottom for drainage. Divide the box into as many compartments as you want. Drill holes in the partitions to allow lateral movement of the worms.
Sit the box on wooden blocks off the ground.
You treat it like any wormery. Stop feeding one section, and the worms migrate to the food in the next section.
(oh, before you start put layers of newspaper on the bottom of the box to stop the worms crawling out the holes ;) )
